The last couple of years were tough for fish fries.
No in-person fish fries in 2021.... It was sad.
Fish fries were back in 2022! Yay! But some fish fries weren't completely back to normal.
In 2023 (fingers crossed), it feels like it will be a great year for the fish fry season! Double Yay!
Can you believe Friday Night Fish has been around for 15 years! Over 680,000 page views! Over 60 unique fish fries visited!
We know you don't visit Friday Night Fish for our excellent writing prose ("good solid fish fry"), or modern website design (last updated in 2011). You come because you love fish fries! We love fish fries! We all love the fish fry community!
80% of what makes a great fish fry is the sense of community. Whether in a new parish hall, a school cafeteria, or a church gymnasium, sharing fried Cod with friends, family, parishioners, visitors, volunteers, and fish fry reviewers over the backdrop of laughter, conversations, and sometimes music - makes Fish Fry season special.
A few reminders:
- Don't ask us who's having a fish fry this week or that week. We don't keep track. Try the fish fry maps at KSDK and elsewhere.
- We still love your Fan Sign photos! We always welcome a new fan sign photo (and will post on our Facebook/Instagram page)!
See you at a fish fry!
PS - We had the whole pandemic to update the website.... Still waiting.... Sorry!
