Fan Poll "Best St. Louis Fish Fry"
2013 Winner - Saint Mary Magdalen, Brentwood
Congratulations to Saint Mary Magdalen, the winner of the 2013 Fan Poll Favorite Fish Fry! It was a hectic week of voting as Saint Mary Magdalen and St. Ferdinand traded leads throughout the week. Almost 1,400 votes during the week of voting.
Congrats to all the finalists. There are no "losers" when it comes to fish fries. Every fish fry is great! St. Ferdinand had a passionate voting block as they celebrate their 60th year of fish fries. Saint Mary Magdalen came in a close 2nd last year, leading most of the way before being overtaking by St. Rose. This year, they kept the votes coming!

3. St. Pius, St. Louis
2012 Winner - St. Rose Philippine Duchesne
St. Rose Phlippine Duschesne beat perennial fan favorite St. Pius and a surge in 2012 from St. Mary Magdalen. Over 1,000 votes during the two rounds of voting. St. Pius and St. Mary Magdalen jumped out to early leads at the beginning of the week, but St. Rose surged ahead mid-week. At one point, St. Rose had over 50% of the votes. St. Mary Magdalen and St. Pius made strong comebacks. At the beginning of Friday, St. Mary Magdalen had cut the St. Rose lead to less than 50 votes. But St. Rose kept and added to their lead. St. Pius actually had more votes this year than their Champion year last year!
Congratulations not only to St. Rose, but to St. Mary Magdalen and St. Pius. The passion of these great fish fries could be seen in all the voting that was done in the past week! As we often say here at Friday Night Fish, there are no bad fish fries and there are no fish fry "losers". The final three in the Fan Poll made for an exciting week of voting!

In a nail biter, St. Pius edged Our Lady of Guadalupe. Thanks to all who voted and who sent in their write-in votes in Round 1. Almost 500 fans voted in the two rounds of voting! And remember, there are no winners or losers, every fish fry is great. It was great to see the enthusiasm of Our Lady of Guadalupe and St. Pius pushing for their fish fries. That passion is what makes those parishes so special!
